Greene, NY is home to Chenango County’s largest employer, The Raymond Corporation. It has a beautiful, quaint, historic downtown that includes center of street parking, to open up area in front of businesses and encourage shopping and dining.

Greene is home to some annual events, including the Apple Festival and an annual Arts and Crafts Festival, and also has many antique dealers close by.

Greene is fortunate to have a very low vacancy rate on its downtown properties. It benefits from the presence of an active Chamber of Commerce and a Village government that is supportive of economic development.
